Israel and Meraf are the husband-and-wife team behind SebeneMariam, united by a shared faith and a love for capturing life as it truly unfolds. They serve together in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and bonded over a shared passion for creativity and storytelling. After getting married, their collaborative vision naturally grew into documenting moments—big and small—side by side.
Blending digital and film mediums, Israel and Meraf specialize in documentary, editorial, and cinematic storytelling, preserving real-life experiences with authenticity, intention, and heart.
